Search engines love content. There’s no secret to that but as anyone who has maintained aweb site will tell…creating and changing content is a hassle.

That’s one of the great things about blogs and blog software. The blog software that I use, PMachine, is really more of a content management program.

Now I find myself adding content every few days and my search traffic has picked up dramatically.

One of the reasons for this is that blogs are still new to the commercial folks and so the competition is relatively light. My blog showed up in the #3 spot on Google for the term “marketing weblog” within three weeks of making my first entry.
