Pamela Sims writes a blog called Escape from Cubicle Nation. In part, the blog encourages people who dream about starting their own business to go ahead and “Declare their Independence.”

Here site features a wonderful little flash video that she aptly titled: Declare Your Independence. Her’s is a cause that I can relate to. More and more people are waking everyday and deciding they’ve had enough and this is the year they are going to take the leap.

Owning you own business is freedom – maybe sometimes it’s the freedom to work any 80 hours a week you choose, but nothing feeds the soul like work that you are passionate about.
