Inc Editor-at-Large Bo Burlingham (listen to an interview I recently conducted with Bo) did a fascinating profile of a start-up called TerraCycle in this month’s issue of Inc magazine. The article title is The Coolest Little Start-Up in America. This company is a great example of the product and package as THE marketing strategy.
From the company’s web site:
TerraCycle aims to lead industry in changing that equation by creating revolutionary products made from and packaged in waste. TerraCycle Plant Foodsâ„¢ are created by feeding organic waste to worms, liquefying their poop and packaging the liquid in reused soda bottles.
Go check it out, it’s a great read.
